David Penn has been ranked #56 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 Alternative DJ’s for 2019! With this year rapidly coming to a close, it’s without a doubt that David Penn had some outstanding moments that have put him in this spot. Some highlights were his remix of Pete Heller’s ‘Big Love’ that hit #1 on Beatport’s overall chart in July and Penn ranking #35 for Top 101 Producers 2019 from 1001 Tracklists.
DJ Mag launched its Top 100 Alternative DJs poll for 2019 just last week. With assistance from Beatport, the Top 100 DJs voting data is combined with techno and house sales data from the world’s largest online electronic music shop.
DJ Mag stated that the results they saw last year were vastly different than the results they were given this year. One thing that remained the same was that Carl Cox has topped the list!
